The numbers of accidents on construction projects in Indonesia are quite high as mentioned in the Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration’s publication. Not surprisingly accidents in construction are often reported in medias such as television, newspapers, magazines, dan the internet. This study collects data regarding construction accident from year 2012 to 2014 from the internet, specifically using search engines "Google" with keywords such as construction work accident, falling from height, accident from falling objects, electric shock and so on. The data are then analyzed to obtain information on the types, causes and impact of accidents and suggestion for prevention/respond. The results showed that of the 327 data obtained, the most common accidents occurred are in building projects (47%) and housing (42%), while in road, bridge and other buildings are lower (11%). The most common types of accidents are electric shock (114 cases), falling from height (90 cases) and striken by objects (82 cases). The cause of work accident due to unsafe acts is 59% and due to personal factors is 57%. The impact of most accidents is fatal, followed by serious and catastrophic. The recommended control measures are administrative and using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
