Biography

Verônica is a Medical Doctor and glaucoma and cataract surgeon. Graduated in Medicine from Escola Bahiana de Medicina, she completed a residency in Ophthalmology at Hospital Santa Luzia and specialized in Glaucoma at the University of Campinas - Unicamp (Brazil). At Bascom Palmer, McKnight Vision Reseach Center, she works as a research fellow in the Glaucoma Reseach and Data Science Lab, where she develops research related to the application of Artificial Intelligence in the analysis and early detection of glaucoma progression
