Biography

Mathieu Lacombe is a mechanical engineer from the Université de Sherbrooke in Québec. He has been doing field engineering work for the lubricant business with Imperial (Mobil lubricants) since 2014. His expertise range from forestry to marine but he has been focusing in the mining industry (mainly gold, iron, copper and nickel) since 2016. He currently covers the Western Quebec mining region (Abitibi-Témiscamingue) as well as the arctic remote mining operations of the James Bay, Nunavik and Nunavut. His area of expertise is reliability of off-road mining equipment.
