Biography

Jhon Carilli is the Environmental Management (EM) Nevada Program’s Federal Low-Level Waste (LLW) Activity Lead for the U.S. Department of Energy’s EM mission at the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS). Jhon is responsible for ensuring LLW and mixed LLW, classified non-radioactive waste, and classified non-radioactive hazardous waste are safely disposed at the NNSS in compliance with rigorous acceptance criteria including applicable federal and state regulations. Jhon also represents the NNSS as a member of the LLW Disposal Facility Federal Review Group. He has a Chemistry degree and is a certified Lead Auditor.
