Biography

Mr. Brooks is the Director, Office of Security Policy within the Department of Energy (DOE). The Office of Security Policy analyzes, develops and interprets security policy governing national security functions and the protection of related critical assets entrusted to the Department. This includes the protection of DOE nuclear facilities, nuclear weapons components, special nuclear materials and classified information. Mr. Brooks has over 30 years of experience in security and emergency management supporting Energy, Defense, Intelligence and Homeland Security programs. Mr. Brooks has a B.S. Degree in Criminal Justice and a M.S. Degree in Security Management from Bellevue University.
