Biography

Chip Langdon’s 35-year career in the nuclear industry has run the gamut from being a Naval Reactors-certified reactor shift test engineer to DOE’s Chief of Nuclear Safety for Environmental Management, Nuclear Energy, and Science; and from AECOM’s Chief Nuclear Officer to Bechtel’s Chief Engineer, Nuclear Operations and Safety. During his tenure with DOE, he served under three administrations. In his current position, Chip is responsible for establishing Bechtel’s Nuclear Safety Center of Excellence and supporting ongoing work scope for both DOE and commercial projects.
