Patricia Worthington is the Director of Health and Safety at the Department of Energy (DOE). She has over 40 years of Federal experience and remains devoted to promoting and advocating for the safety and health of Federal and contractor workers and members of the public living in the vicinity of DOE sites. She interfaces with the Environment, Safety, and Health Directors of the National Laboratory Directors’ Council; is the DOE liaison for the Energy Facility Contractors Group’s Safety Working Group; is a Champion for advancing the Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS) and is responsible for the DOE Voluntary Protection Program.
