David is presently a Senior Director for the Weapons Program at Los Alamos National Laboratory. He is currently leading the Advanced Sources and Detectors (ASD) project, which includes the development and installation of a DARHT-class, multi-pulse, single-axis Linear Induction Accelerator or LIA-based radiographic system in Nevada. Prior to holding this position, David helped restart a HC-2 nuclear facility and worked with a team of experts to develop a processing method to treat the problematic nitrate salt population at LANL – the same waste stream that led to the closure of WIPP.
