Biography

Alex is a Plant Engineer at ANSTO where he manages assets and capital projects for the treatment and storage of radioactive waste generated from reactor operations, research and radiopharmaceutical production. Alex is the Past President of AusYGN where he currently manages international initiatives as a member on the International Youth Nuclear Congress (IYNC) Board of Directors. He is the General Co-Chair of the IYNC2020 where he leads an international and multidisciplinary team in organising the conference in Sydney in 2020. Alex has championed initiatives on diversity and inclusion and will be hosting the conference under the theme 'Diversity in Nuclear'.
