John Kelly has over 30 years of waste management, operations, environmental cleanup and decommissioning experience for commercial and governmental nuclear facilities. In his current position at Los Alamos National Laboratory, Mr. Kelly is the Waste Management Division Leader overseeing the characterization, transportation, and disposal of hazardous, mixed low-level, low-level, and industrial waste. Before returning to LANL in 2020, Mr. Kelly was Vice President of Eastern Operations for Perma-Fix Environmental Services responsible for operations at two permitted and licensed treatment facilities. Mr. Kelly was part of the U.S. Core team of experts that provided technical support to Toshiba and Tepco after the 2011 Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster.
