Biography

Ms. Jaffet Ferrer-Torres is an Environmental Engineer at the U.S. DOE's Office of Environmental Management. Currently, she works in the Office of Waste Disposal, where she is assigned activities such as completing different actions to support the DOE’s excess uranium program and in the development of the NEPA documentation needed for the disposal of DOE depleted uranium. Previously, she served in the U.S. Air Force in the Civil Engineer Squadron as an engineer where she had the opportunity to serve as Chief of Operations Engineering, Chief of Operations/Facility Engineering Contracting Officer Representative, project programmer and project manager.
