Biography

James Mason is the Institutional Affairs Manager for the U.S. Department of Energy National TRU Program (NTP), acting Public Affairs Manager for the Carlsbad Field Office, the Radiological Assistance Program (RAP Region 4/CBFO) Federal Team Leader, and the Incident/Accident Response Team (NTP/IART) Federal Team Leader. Mr. Mason came to the Carlsbad Field Office from the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Office of Secure Transportation (OST) in 2013. Mr. Mason retired from the State of New Mexico in 2011 from a diverse public safety career maintaining certifications as a Law Enforcement Officer, Fire Fighter, EMT, Communications Officer and in Emergency Management.
