Biography

Bruce is the Managing Director of Radioactive Waste Management Limited (RWM). RWM is a wholly owned subsidiary of the NDA and has responsibility for planning and delivering geological disposal of higher activity wastes in accordance with Government policy. The geological disposal facility is a multi- billion pound infrastructure programme that is essential for the UK nuclear industry. Government policy requires that siting of the facility is done through partnership with the local community. This presents a unique challenge for RWM.
