Biography

Mark earned his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Vermont, and a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University, where he specialized in Geotechnical Engineering. He is currently serving as the Idaho National Laboratory (INL) Settlement Agreement Coordinator for the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality. Mark spent close to a decade in the US Navy submarine service, where he supervised and operated submarine reactor and steam plant systems. His relevant experience includes: Nuclear facility decommissioning, CERCLA and RCRA hazardous waste landfill geotechnical analysis and design, and oversight of nuclear waste exhumation and handling operations.
