Biography

In 2005, after practicing law in Calgary for a number of years, Liam joined Cameco located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Since that time, he has been focused on safety, health and environmental issues related to Cameco’s mining, milling, refining, conversion and fuel manufacturing facilities. In 2011, Liam was appointed as Cameco’s Vice-President, Safety, Health, Environment & Quality and Regulatory Relations. Currently, Liam is a member of the CNA’s Regulatory Affairs Committee and the CSA’s Nuclear Standards Steering Committee. He is also on the Board of the Saskatchewan Mining Association and the Canadian Nuclear Lawyers’ Organization as well as the Saskatoon City Hospital Foundation.
