Biography

David McCauley is the Director of the Uranium and Radioactive Waste Division at Natural Resources Canada where he is responsible for developing policies and programs for the Government of Canada in the areas of uranium, radioactive wastes, and nuclear civil liability. He has over 25 years of experience working for the Government of Canada in the areas of environmental and energy policy, most of that period focused on electricity and nuclear policy issues. He is Canada’s representative to both the Nuclear Energy Agency’s Radioactive Waste Management Committee and the International Atomic Energy Agency’s Expert Group on Nuclear Civil
