Biography

Lise Morton is the Vice-President of Nuclear Waste Management for Ontario Power Generation. In this role, she is accountable for safe and reliable operations and storage of low, intermediate level waste and used nuclear fuel as well as for OPG’s radioactive materials transportation program. She is also accountable for the oversight of the proposed projects for the Deep Geologic Repository for Low & Intermediate Level Waste. Lise has over thirty years experience in the nuclear industry and nineteen years experience specifically in Nuclear Waste. Lise has participated in many international consultancies related to Nuclear Waste Management and brings a wealth of experience to the plenary session.
