Biography

Dr. Beverly Crawford has 25 years of experience in process chemistry related to nuclear materials processing and waste management. She has worked at the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant for the past 12 years primarily for the Los Alamos National Laboratory – Carlsbad Operations group. At Los Alamos, she led the team that developed the first certified TRU waste inventory supporting the WIPP recertification in 2004 and 2009. Over the past four years, Dr. Crawford has worked as a member of the Difficult Waste Team, where she has provided evaluations and solutions to problems with waste handling, characterization, packaging
