Biography

Dr. El Aghoury possess over 25 years of academic and professional experience; in life extension of nuclear facilities, nuclear waste management facilities, R&D, design engineering and operations. He is a seismic capability engineer and subject matter expert in structural assessment, ageing management, seismic, tornado, and blast resisting structures. Dr. El Aghoury is a member of the Canadian Nuclear Code Technical Committee on Concrete Containment / Safety Related Structures, as well as the National Building Code of Canada. He authored and coauthored number of journal and conferences papers.
