Biography

I am a Ph.D candidate studying nuclear engineering at the University of California, Berkeley. I am fascinated by nuclear energy and passionate about the environment, and have been fortunate to participate in academic research that pairs those interests. Currently, I am developing analysis software to evaluate waste management strategies for different nuclear fuel cycles with the goal of improving their codevelopment. I am also interested in the history, politics, and environmental justice of nuclear energy and waste management, and I participate in outreach activities in Berkeley to teach others about nuclear energy. Outside of research, I enjoy hiking, skiing, traveling, and eating.
