Biography

Dr. Weiyi Wang received his Bachelor of Science in Physics from Peking University, and Master and PhD in Nuclear Engineering from University of Michigan. His research was on radiation imaging reconstruction techniques using position-sensitive gamma-ray detectors. Dr. Wang co-founded H3D, Inc. in 2011 to commercialize the CZT technology research conducted at the University of Michigan, and now serves as research and development director. His imaging reconstruction code is deployed in every commercial system produced by H3D.
