Biography

Rebecca joined Ontario Power Generation in 2016 at the Western Waste Management Facility. She is responsible for coordinating the acceptance of all Low- and Intermediate-Level Radioactive Waste, and managing the inventory with respects to waste minimization and safe storage. Her focus has been the unique waste streams generated from major reactor refurbishment projects and preparing all waste for long-term storage in the Deep Geologic Repository. Rebecca’s previous work in environmental management and regulation reinforces her decision making and implementation of the critical waste management practices necessary to meet the rigour of the nuclear industry in Canada.
