I am a physicist by education and a Project Manager and Design Engineer by training with 20 years of experience in conceptualizing, designing, actualizing and fabricating new instruments to solve multiscale problems in physics, space science, and environmental science. With a variety of technical problem-solving skills and advanced leadership and communication abilities which I have continuously aimed to sharpen, I have written over 25 first-authored papers, and 5 of them in prestigious journals such as Science and the PNAS, and have built five scientific operational instruments. Lately, I am interested in Nuclear Waste Management and assessing the risk associated with temporary storage of waste from San Onofre Nuclear Generating Plant.
