Dr. Troy Harden has worked for the past 17+ years in the Process Hardware Automation and Robotics team within the Process Automation and Control group at Los Alamos National Laboratory. At Los Alamos, he has participated in research and development in manipulator obstacle avoidance, human-robot interaction, and robot motion planning. Troy currently is the first line manager for his team. He came to Los Alamos as a post-doc in 2002 after receiving his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from UT Austin. While at UT, he worked in the Robotics Research Group, where his major research topic was manipulator obstacle avoidance.
