Biography

Architect (Licensed in Portugal/Europe), designer and writer, lives/works in New York, USA and Lisbon, Portugal. Co-founder of Umasideia in Lisbon, and AUM Studio in NY, with Ed Keller. Professor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute School of Architecture. Practice, research and academic endeavors focus on intersection between architecture materials and practices and media concepts and processes. Publications include several authorship and editing of projects involving relationships between technology, representation and architectural and urban systems. Practice includes built and ongoing residential and institutional projects and multimedia exhibitions.
