Biography

Roger Jarrell serves as Senior Advisor for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Environmental Management (EM), providing leadership for the safe cleanup of the environmental legacy brought about from eight decades of nuclear weapons development and government-sponsored nuclear research. In the first Trump administration Roger served as EM’s key interface with the Office of the Secretary of Energy and other senior leadership, formulating cleanup strategies, coordinating EM's communication strategy, and providing key leadership to the cleanup program. Prior to his current appointment with DOE, Roger served as the General Counsel and was previously the Government and Stakeholder Interface at United Cleanup Oak Ridge LLC (UCOR).
