Biography

Julia Palmes, environmental scientist, is a scientific officer in the Federal Office for the Safety of Nuclear Waste Management (BfE). She is working in the field of licensing of interim storage of spent nuclear fuel and HAW since 2007. She is a project manager for licensing procedures and an expert for environmental impact assessments, including public participation procedures.
