Canadian Nuclear Laboratories
Deirdre Laxton is a Project Specialist for Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL) working on the Port Hope Area Initiative (PHAI). Having started with CNL as a co-op student in 2011, Deirdre has been involved in stakeholder relations, project management, characterization analysis, deliverables review, and future planning and currently leads the radiological survey of more than 160 road ways and road allowances in the Municipality of Port Hope. Deirdre holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Guelph and is working toward her professional engineer’s license (P.eng).
