Ripley Raubenolt recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental engineering at Florida International University. She plans to progress towards a master’s degree in environmental engineering management and/or coastal engineering. Ripley became involved in FIU’s Applied Research Center (ARC) as a Department of Energy Fellow in the fall of 2016. During her time at ARC, she worked with Dr. Ravi Gudavalli in Investigating the Effect of Sorbed Humic Acid on the Mobility of Uranium. In summer 2017, Ripley completed an internship at Savannah River National Laboratories where she assisted Dr. Paller and Dr. Looney with Mercury Speciation via Diffusive Gradients in Thin-Films Technology.
