Biography

Dr. Casey Trail is a Senior Data Scientist at Conversant in Chicago IL. Previously he was an operations research analyst working in the System Sciences Center at Argonne National Laboratory. He managed the System Architecture work package for the US Department of Energy’s Integrated Waste Management System project from 2014-2017. This effort analyses and evaluates integrated approaches to the transportation, storage, and disposal in the waste in the waste management system. Prior to working at Argonne Casey earned a master’s degree in mathematics from Miami University in Oxford Ohio, and a dual PhD in industrial engineering and operations research at Penn State University in University Park Pennsylvania.
