Biography

Laura earned her PhD in Chemical Engineering from Sherbrooke University in Canada. She has worked as a Process/Modeling Scientist in R&D at CNL for more than 10 years. Her expertise includes Chemical Engineering, Materials Characterization and Waste Management. She has worked in the development of projects of Heavy Water Upgrading, Detritiation and Purification. Most recently, she has been involved in the refurbishment of a Heavy Water Upgrading Facility at CNL. She has conducted experimental projects in development of catalysts for hydrogen isotope separation and hydrogen-oxygen recombination and related chemical processes.
