Biography

Sylvain JANSKI has more than 35 years of digital simulation experience in the nuclear industry (safety studies, use of burn-up credit, vessel neutron fluence, fuel management, PWR thermo-hydraulic studies, and core parameters monitoring). He built his entire career at EDF, mainly at EDF’s SUPER PHENIX fast breeder reactor, EDF Basic design Department, and EDF Dismantling Department. Currently he is the Radiological Inventory Team Manager of EDF Dismantling Department. This team defines the hypotheses of the digital simulations and optimizes the sampling program to validate the calculations. These simulations concern both first generation NPPs and the current PWR fleet of EDF.
