Biography

Finish Graduate School of University of Tokyo, and was awarded doctor degree in nuclear engineering in 1988. Then, joined in CRIEPI and started studying pyro-reprocessing technology. In 1990 - 1992, studied at Argonne National Laboratory as reseach assignee of joint study on IFR. In 1998 - 2000, studied at Institute of Transuranium Elements in Germany for development of electrorefinig of irradiated metal fuel. Since then, pyrochemical reprocessing was studied using Pu and U by domestic collaborations with JAEA, Toshiba etc.
