Biography

I started to work for Shimizu Corporation since 2004 after graduation. I belonged to Civil Engineering Technology division since 2006 and have worked in the field of nuclear waste technologies since 2009. I studied at both KTH and Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden as a guest researcher between 2011 and 2013. The research topic was on rock grouting for watertight tunnels and for geological disposal. During this decade, I worked at Mizunami URL’s construction site for several times to study on actual grouting works in the deep underground. Nowadays, I work in supporting normal construction sites in the Kansai region in Japan with still working on grouting research issues.
