Biography

Christopher Lawrence is a registered Professional Engineer in Ontario, Canada, and has been working for Nuclear Waste Management Organization (NWMO) since 2014. Currently assigned as Project Engineer for the Used Fuel Container design team, he has also gained experience in Design Engineering for used nuclear fuel transportation at NWMO, as well as heavy equipment design for tunnel boring machines while previously working for Caterpillar. Leveraging this experience, Christopher welcomes the challenge of overseeing the serial production campaign of NWMO's used fuel container conceptual design with a goal of proving out the design.
