Biography

Jaap Hart (NRG, Netherlands) holds a PhD in chemical engineering and has more than 25 years of experience in the areas of risk assessments of nuclear reactors and safety assessments for radioactive waste facilities. In 2001, he joined the Department of Consultancy & Services of NRG and has been involved in a variety of national and international projects related to radioactive waste management, amongst others several Framework projects of the European Commission, and international working groups hosted by the NEA and IAEA, and the Dutch research programme on geological disposal, called OPERA.
