Biography

Dr Won-Seok Kim is a Research Professor in the Division of Advanced Nuclear Engineering at the Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH). He is working on projects related to the development of metal and radioactive wastes isolation and immobilization techniques, and performance assessment of low-level radioactive waste repository. He is interesting on research about reclamation and remediation of contaminated soil by hazardous chemicals, the fate of trace organic contaminants during reclamation of treated municipal wastewater, and the transport and biodegradation of hazardous chemicals in groundwater.
