Brendan has been a practicing engineer for 10 years, over 8 of which have been as a geotechnical engineer with WSP. Brendan started working with WSP in NY in 2016. After six years of working out of New York City, in 2022 Brendan transferred to WSP’s Portland Oregon office.
Brendan has worked on several geotechnical projects, including LaGuardia Airport, Kosciuszko Bridge, Macombs Dam Bridge, the City Island Bridge, Living Breakwater, Broadway Junction, Marcy Ave. Station, Harmon Yards, Port Everglades, St. George Terminal Sandy Flood Mitigation, and several project for Portland BES. Since starting with WSP, his duties have included several aspects of geotechnical design, geotechnical construction inspection, and geotechnical investigation programs. Brendan has amassed experience in several areas of geotechnical engineering including design of secant/tangent piles, tunnels, shallow foundations, and is especially knowledgeable in pile design, retaining wall design, settlement calculations/mitigation, and slope stability.
