Biography

Dr. Fountain is an experienced civil/environmental engineer and project manager with practical expertise in radiological, Resource Conservation Recovery Act (RCRA), and Toxic Substances and Control Act (TSCA) waste management; on-site disposal facility siting and construction; large-scale groundwater and soil investigation; data evaluation; database design and management; risk assessment; groundwater risk modeling; feasibility study; and conceptual and detailed remediation design. She develops remedial strategies and cost estimates aligned with short- and long-term objectives and the project’s regulatory setting, and is particularly experienced in detailed evaluation of alternatives for waste disposal.
