Biography

Three decades of experience in Hydrogeology, particularly at the Hanford site. Recent work has focused on large-scale groundwater flow and transport numerical modeling of the Hanford site employing high performance computing platforms for vadose zone model development in the Central Plateau and development of a calibrated sitewide aquifer model using both hydraulic head and tritium data. Developed numerical models of combined vadose zone and aquifer models for sites along the Columbia River. Earlier work involved the development, testing, and deployment of innovative groundwater remediation technologies. Skills include programming, field and laboratory studies, data assimilation for conceptual site and numerical model development, Geothermal Systems, and Carbon Storage.
