Biography

Sarah Springer manages the Risk, Modeling and Characterization Integration (RMCI) team for the Central Plateau Cleanup Company (CPCCo) at the Hanford Site. The RMCI team supports the DOE mission of progressing cleanup of the Hanford Site by supplying subject matter expertise in risk assessment, environmental modeling, geology and characterization data collection and analysis. Before she joined Central Plateau cleanup in 2015 she worked for 10 years in the oil and gas industry as a development and exploration geoscientist and a horizontal drilling consultant. She has an MS in Geology from Utah State University and a BS in Environmental and Engineering Geology from Western Washington University.
