Biography

Richard Murphy serves as a Chemistry Technical Expert with Arcadis US Inc working in the Highlands Ranch, Colorado Office. He holds degrees in Chemistry (BS) and Environmental Science and Engineering (MS, PhD). Richard has over 40 years of experience in sample collection and analysis, the chemistry of radionuclides and mixed waste, geochemistry, and site investigation and remediation. He has lead multidisciplinary teams providing strategy development and implementation guidance for site evaluation and remediation projects across the United States, particularly those involving metals, radionuclides, tailings, other inorganic industrial process residuals, and emerging contaminants.
