Biography

Dr. Jones is a senior engineer with Dominion Engineering, Inc. located in Reston, VA where he has worked since earning his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from MIT in 2004. Dr. Jones has worked on issues ranging from stress-corrosion cracking and boric-acid corrosion to qualification testing of ultrasonic fuel cleaning equipment. On numerous occasions since 2006, Dr. Jones has had the opportunity to work with the Hanford Waste Treatment Plant in Washington State to address technical issues ranging from quantitative risk analysis of hydrogen in piping and vessels to large-scale erosion testing.
