Biography

Diletta Invernizzi works as Project Manager in Jacobs UK, after having completed her PhD in Project Management in Nuclear Decommissioning in the School of Civil Engineering at the University of Leeds (UK). Her main tasks in Jacobs include managing and tracking internal overhead projects and engineering projects with external customers, including international ones, and, promoting collaborations between industry and universities to encourage R&D and research commercialization. Diletta has been recently named in the Project Management Institute (PMI) Future 50, and has won the IPMA Young Researcher Award 2020 for her PhD.
