Biography

Jenny Kent is a Principal Consultant at Galson Sciences Ltd in the UK. She has a geological background and over 15 years’ experience in the nuclear industry, working on projects that support the management of radioactive waste from storage, packaging and treatment to disposal. Prior to joining GSL, she conducted laboratory analysis of environmental monitoring samples at AWE and did an environmental radiochemistry PhD. She has supported the Strategic Waste Programme team at RWM since 2015 and is a member of the PW IPT Core Team. In her spare time, she enjoys running, quilting and reading science fiction books.
