Biography

Fabienne Anton has completed her studies in chemistry at the University of Hanover with a doctorate in chemical engineering. Since 2010 she has been with TÜV NORD EnSys, a technical support organization to nuclear regulator providing independent expert services. Throughout her career as expert and, subsequently, project manager, she has particularly focused on nuclear safety in radioactive waste management and disposal with an emphasis on the Konrad repository and the Asse II mine. Beyond her involvement with German waste management, she is a member of the Nuclear Decommissioning and Waste Management Independent Expert Group of the European Commission´s JRC
