Biography

Colleen Owens has been part of the Waste Management community for over 35 years She began her career at the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory as a technical writer/editor. She became a program engineer for the National Low Level Waste Management Program. She was the public relations manager for waste management. She managed the waste certification program for GTS Duratek at Rocky Flats and managed several radioactive and mixed waste programs for SEG Colorado, Weston Solutions, WCS, LATA and DeNuke. Colleen has been involved with Waste Management Symposia for the past 34 years as a presenter, PAC member and Track 3 Co Chair.
