Biography

Marc Rigby is Head of Integrated Waste Management for Nuclear Waste Services in the UK. He has worked in the nuclear industry for over twenty years. He has experience of many different aspects of the nuclear lifecycle from submarine reactor core design through to the characterisation of ILW storage tubes being prepared ready for decommissioning. His experience and knowledge of working in a range of operational facilities has enabled him to apply these practical skills in the development and delivery of key waste and decommissioning strategies within the UK nuclear industry and specifically for the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority.
