Biography

Alex has worked on waste information systems at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) for over a decade. He has a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of New Mexico and a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from Brigham Young University. Alex was involved in efforts at LANL to consolidate various software systems into WCATS, the Waste Compliance and Tracking System software developed at LANL. Alex now serves as the project manager for WCATS and oversees the work that LANL developers are doing to modernize the application's frontend and mobile devices with open-source software.
