Biography

Dr. W. Dean Hoffman is an expert in waste management, environmental remediation, and stakeholder relations. He has held senior management positions across the Department of Energy (DOE) Complex at the West Valley Demonstration Project in New York, the Savannah River Site in South Carolina, the Oak Ridge Reservation in Tennessee, and the National Energy Technology Laboratory in West Virginia and Pennsylvania. He has also managed government and commercial waste projects in Illinois, Texas, Kentucky, Canada, and Singapore. Dean is known for bringing new technology and innovative design to both federal and state projects, and is regarded as a founder of modern public information programs in the DOE Complex.
